At the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to identify types of child abuse and neglect, describe the dynamics and consequences of child maltreatment, identify five strategies they can implement to prevent child abuse and neglect and understand the policy and procedure for reporting suspected cases of maltreatment of students who are in their school system.
